Hi readers today I am going to tell you about Blackout Poetry we did in art class today with mr birtch. I have been working on a blackout poem. It is when you pick the words that shine out at you and you try to make them into a poem. The purpose is to think about the words and be able to put random words into a poem.
The experience was like I was shocked that I could do this.
I enjoyed the bit where you draw the pictures when you black it out with a vivid. I liked it when we had to do the drawing and it inspired me to draw more. Because I think I cant draw but people saw I am good at it so it inspired me to draw more.

I think the ones where you try to draw a shape into the poem are really creative. I look forward to reading your thoughts about the digital blackout poems when we get to it!
