Questions for sign Language week
1. When did sign language come a official language? It became a official language on the 10 of April 2006.
2. Why was there a need for NZ Sign Language? For the deaf people that cannot hear you so we have sign language so we can communicate.
3. Share two facts about the deaf community from the reading? New Zealand sign language people call them selves deaf for culture and identity. People usually become deaf when they are just born and some people come out deaf.
4. In what city did NZSL begin in the 1800s? It began in Christchurch 1800s.
